Then this summer job is for you! As a property caretaker, no two days are the same. We are looking for someone to work with the maintenance of properties and green areas this summer at Vetlanda Municipality's property department and Witalabostäder.

At the technical office, we are responsible for a wide range of activities, where property, street-park, development, and planning are different parts. The property department is responsible for new construction and renovation of our municipal properties, such as preschools, schools, elderly care buildings, and sports facilities. We manage, maintain, and operate the municipality's buildings, totaling approximately 220,000 square meters.

Witalabostäder AB is a property company with about 1000 rental apartments and several commercial spaces. We have extensive experience as a landlord and have managed apartments and commercial premises since 1963. Today, we have 25 employees, all based in our bright, fresh premises on Stålvägen. We also manage the property portfolio of AB Vetlanda Industrilokaler, which consists of about 40,000 square meters of industrial premises.

Do you enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather? Are you helpful and service-oriented? Every day you meet citizens, tenants, and users, and collaborate with both colleagues and external actors – an important part of the job.

Your tasks may include:

• maintenance of green areas, weeding, grass trimming, and hedge cutting
• managing and cleaning waste rooms
• simple exterior and interior painting tasks
• cleaning stairwells, laundry rooms, and commercial premises
• supervision and maintenance of bathing areas and playgrounds

We are looking for someone who can work 8–10 weeks this summer, during the period of weeks 25–34. There is also an opportunity to work before or after this period.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with a B driver's license.
• You have good Swedish skills, both spoken and written.
• BE driver's license, B96 driver's license, and experience in similar tasks are advantageous.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
